Custom Packaging Solutions

Custom wood packaging solutions to help you protect and move what matters,
ensuring your cargo arrives on time and in its best condition.

Since 1984, we have been providing premium quality wood pallets, crates, boxes and custom packaging to multinational corporations and industrial manufacturing businesses. Our customers are well-known multinational corporations in the semiconductor, pharmaceutical, food, electronics and electrical, precision equipment and solar industries in Malaysia and Vietnam.

Berjayapak’s wood pallets can be customised based on your specifications, budget, type of wood and uses (export or domestic).

We offer pallets made with wood (local hardwood or imported wood), engineered wood, plastic, steel and recycled wood.

Engineered wood such as plywood, LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber) and OSB (Oriented Strand Board) comprise some of the newest materials that we import to produce pallets. Engineered wood is made by bonding thin wood veneers together to create material that is stronger, straighter and more uniform with increased dimensional stability compared to conventional timber.

Our pallet types:

  • Wood
  • Engineered Wood
  • Recycled
  • Steel
  • Plastic

We utilise Pallet Design System with LoadSync, a licensed software from the USA to design pallets to be structurally robust and capable of withstanding the thousands of miles of travel across the land, air and sea.

If you are unsure which type of pallets fits your needs best, contact us and we will be happy to advise.

Our wooden boxes and crates are manufactured to your specifications to help you transport your products from one place to another. We have designed and manufactured boxes and crates for light and fragile cargo to large-scale boxes and crates that ship industrial machinery.

We also provide interior packaging inserts from as common as foam packaging to specialized anti-static material to cushion and protect fragile equipment and hold everything firmly in place inside the wood boxes and crates.

Our packing specialists will help you on-site to ensure the packing is secure and with the greatest care and attention.

Your boxes and crates can be manufactured with the wood of your choice such as pine, spruce, Douglas fir, acacia, Merbau, Keruing, Sepetir etc.

We offer artisanal precision wooden cases made with premium walnut wood for high-value industrial products.

Walnut wood is hard, dense and tightly-grained and polishes to a smooth and beautiful finish, perfect as premium cases for your products.

Each walnut wood case is intricately handcrafted, employing the age-old woodworking technique of dovetail joints. Dovetail joints are difficult to make manually, requiring skilled workmanship but the joints are extremely strong and virtually impossible to pull apart – the signature of excellent craftsmanship.

Our precision cases are works of art and made to perfection by our highly experienced craftsmen.

We line the walnut case interior with the material of your choice to cushion and protect your precision equipment.

While we mainly produce walnut cases, precision cases can be produced and assembled from Malaysian timber such as nyatoh, acacia and rubberwood. If you desire a specific type of wood for your handcrafted cases, let us know.

Our experienced packing specialists are fully equipped with the skills and equipment including forklifts to provide speedy, efficient and systematic packing services on your premises. Be it standard packing or vacuum packing, we are able to help you. Talk to us about your packing needs.

Our moving services help you load and pack heavy industrial machinery into the containers or crates that we have manufactured for you.

With our own fleet of trailers, trucks and lorries, you can count on us to help you deliver your products and shipment to your customers, from door to door.

Our drivers are trained to load and handle pallets, boxes and crates to ensure that your products reach their destination in good condition.

Our pallet recycling program helps to give new life to old or broken pallets. It also helps you with pallet disposal and ensures your factory premises are free from fire hazards and safety issues.

Our program involves collecting, repairing and re-manufacturing worn and broken pallets, turning them into usable pallets again. The repair may consist of replacing one component or complete dismantling of the pallet to salvage still usable components.

While we aim to bring new life to old and worn pallets, we never compromise on the durability and strength of our recycled pallets.

Work with us to ensure responsible pallet recycling to reduce your environmental footprint and improve your bottom line.

Annually, our Pallet Recycling Program prevents the release of approximately 6,700 metric tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions, equivalent to taking 23,000 cars off the roads.

When you are shipping goods all over the world, your wood pallets must bear the ISPM 15 stamp.

The ISPM 15 (International Standard for Phytosanitary Measures no. 15) is an industry-standard certification that protects the world’s forests from disease and wood-based pests and allows your wood packaging to cross borders safely.

Each heat-treated wood pallet will be stencilled with a unique ISPM 15 stamp that bears the company’s individual reference number.

The unique identification number offers full traceability and accountability of heat-treated pallets that move across the world. The stamp also provides confidence to importers and exporters knowing that the wood pallets do not contain wood-born diseases or pests that could affect the local forests.

Our Berjayapak wood pallets are heat-treated at 56 degrees Celcius for 8 to 12 hours (depending on wood density) in our own heat treatment chambers. These chambers are powered by in-house boilers using wood waste, creating a clean cycle of repurposing all our wood materials efficiently.

All Berjayapak pallets for export are stencilled in accordance with the ISPM 15 bearing our unique number (MY-016).  HT/DB refers to the treatment applied (Heat Treatment and Debarked) while IPPC refers to the International Plant Protection Convention.

Besides heat treatment, all wood materials and wood articles undergo additional moisture control prior to being assembled. Advanced heat treatment with RF (Radio Frequency) technology completely dries the wood materials and eliminates moisture even before the finished goods undergo the final heat-treatment process.

Berjayapak is your reliable global supply chain partner for wood-based packaging solutions from pallet design to warehousing support.
